Increasing / Improving Adsense CTR – Tips to improving your click through rate.
Are you wanting to increase your Google Adsense click through rate (CTR). Maybe these ideas will help you out a little.
There are several ways that Adsense CTR can be increased and improved through your website.
Here are a few quite narrowed down tips to help out, of course the only way you can really know what works for your website is by testing it for your self. People mentioned to me that red adsense links on your page work best others have found that in turn that has decreases the click through rate to their ads.
While Google does mention that web pages should not be built exclusively for adsense ads, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t optimize your website to get the most out of Adsense.
Improve / Increase your Adsense CTR Tips:
- Make sure that your ads are on content rich pages. This will help Google in picking the best ads to display on your website, the more content the more specific Google can be with picking ads for your website pages.
- Placing your ads above the fold is sensible due to that reasoning that viewers of your website will not have to scroll down the page to see your ads.
- A big thing is making sure that your ads blend with the page. Down make your ads stand out from your page. Leave borders and background colours behind (unless the back ground of your website is anything but white).
Adsense CTR Tools
This tool, i have not used or tested but it appears to be a good tool, to check which ads are likely to pop up on your website given the content on the site, without having to implement adsense on the site first.
